Are you just starting your chain-making journey? Don’t forget the clasp! This virtual three-session workshop provides live demonstrations of a series of wire-based clasps, starting with the most common (S- and J-hooks), moving on to Toggle clasps (both simple and advanced), and finishing with a Hook-Back style Hook-and-Eye clasp. We’ll discuss end caps, connectors, safety catches, and ways to embellish even the most traditional of clasps for a little extra bling. Students should have a basic understanding of sawing, filing, and soldering.
